Love this! My Gyn prescribed both estrogen (Estrodiol) and testosterone, and I’m one of the women who is prescribed a male prescription to keep the cost down since testosterone is 100% out of pocket. Estrodiol goes through my insurance. My experience with Estrodiol is nearly painfree sex, which was amazing, but by then, I didn’t have any desire. Testosterone fixed that. It’s comforting to read in your blog that it helps with so many other issues as well.

My mom has suffered massive strokes over the past 13 years, rendering her nearly fully paralyzed with frequent UTI’s, despite a low maintenance dosage of Keflex. Her traveling nurse advised me that she has multiple older female patients with recurring UTI’s, which your blog also addresses, and recommended Estrodiol and an OTC odorless garlic pill to prevent them. Her Dr. approved both!

This is wonderful! This is why, as a pelvic health physical therapist, I rarely if ever will accept that these things “just happen with age”—we deserve better, and better EXISTS! Great post and excited to read more!!
